It is now the season of Christmas Fairs and the ‘British Crafts at Blackthorpe Barn’ weekends are already in full swing.
I shall be joining a host of other crafters selling their work at Blackthorpe Barn on the weekend of the 25th & 26th November and the following weekend of the 2nd & 3rd December. If you are within striking distance of Bury St Edmunds turn of the A14 and come and see all the great work on display .Ā .Ā .Ā . And, say hello!
Good luck!
š Thank you – still tying labels on scarves!!
Iām sure your show will be a success!
Thank you. It will be interesting to see all the different crafts and skills on display too.
Gosh! What a big show. Good luck! I am sure you will receive lots of positive comments.
Thank you. Yes, I did have lots of interest and sold one of my expensive, large twills. It is odd, but that’s another favourite from my collection gone. I think I must stick to doing the ones I love and not what I think other people like as they do seem to be more successful. It’s a never-ending learning curve, bit like life in general. š
Well, I set up today and my work is rather bright and colourful in comparison with some very lovely understated ceramics, basketware and woodwork.
Good luck, Agnes! If I can make it to the December one, I will! Do you think they can admit Bella too?š
It would be lovely to meet you and sweet Bella š . I am not sure about Bella being allowed inside as though it is very ‘country and rural’ I didn’t see any dogs in the barn. It might be because they have a cafe and a food section.
