It was very, very busy. Thousands of visitors so I read on a Tweet. And, apparently Bill Wyman attended the Private View, but I didn’t see him!!! By end of Sunday I’d nearly lost my voice talking to so many people.
it will be interesting to see whether you notice an uplift in enquiries in the next couple of months.
Yes, we’ll see. I spent most of my time explaining the techniques involved both the silk painting and then the textile hooking.
So people were interested – right? Next let’s hope they appreciate and value the work! Good luck!
You know I think people only really understand how much work something takes is if they create/make/do/produce stuff themselves. I’m sure it’s like other writers who really appreciate the multiple drafts and fine-tuning that goes into the writing of the finished book!
