Winter has arrived. Time to be indoors with rich spicy scents, ginger flavoured treats and a touch of candlelight. Do I see Christmas round the corner?

What a lovely mood you’ve set in these photos. Merry Christmas and I wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Thank you. And the season’s greetings to you too. I imagine you will be enjoying a traditional Christmas card vista with a view of a snow covered landscape. I guess plenty of fun for Ivy!!
Lucky person who receives one of your beautiful scarves as a gift. Over here we have had a run of warm humid weather, still air, and daily thunderstorms, as if we are living in Singapore. More like February than December. Your Christmas scene looks mellow and welcoming. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you. You know each time I post something about the weather (so English!) I think about all the other places round the world where it’s either tropical or in the southern hemisphere and therefore opposite. My sister’s in-laws are South African and she has spent several Christmases either in Joburg or Cape Town very different to a European Christmas she tells me. Well, I hope you enjoy your Christmas down under or is it up over!!
